Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

My grandma used to make these around the holidays for us. She now lives a few states away and I miss her so much so I decided that I should make a batch or three!

Using an electric mixer blend one stick of butter
with 3/4 cup creamy butter until smooth.
Add 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and 1/2 cup sugar.
Mix for a few minutes until light and fluffy.
Add one egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend well.
Add 1 and 3/4 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda,
1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon milk.
Mix until ball of dough forms.
Place in the fridge for a few hours to get everything to a firmer state. I left mine in fridge for two days becasue that's when I needed it next.
Here's what you need next: preheat the oven to 350 and assemble
your cookie ball scoop, a bowl with 1/2 cup sugar and your pan. No
need to grease the pan folks. Oh and unwrap a bunch of kisses but make
sure to eat a few along the way!
Using the cookie ball scooper make cookie dough balls. Roll balls in sugar.
Place dough on cookies sheet.
Very gently press the each dough ball down so they
won't roll off your pan when going into the oven.
Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or until just barely set. Immediately
press one Hershey kiss in the middle of the cookie.
Let cool on cooling rack for a few hours and then enjoy!
This recipe made 27 cookies. Enjoy!
