Almost every morning an elderly gentlemen walks by with his elderly yellow lab. We exchange hellos and waves. This morning he observed me hacking, yes literally hacking, ice off of my car. He suggested a cover over my windshield that would prevent the ice from coming into contact with the glass. So, I now have an item to add to my Christmas wish list. Hint hint guys! Just kidding!
At work we all pitched in first thing in the morning and decorated our tree. It smells so good! It was a fun and quick activity that we all helped with. I also hung a HUGE stocking by my desk. I don't know if I mentioned it before but when I came home from the hospital I went home in a stocking. The December baby thing.
After work I cleaned my apartment from top to bottom. While in the middle of cleaning Brittany asked me to go take care of her animals while she finished up working. This was a little unusual because she typically asks me early in the evening but I went to her house anyway. Once at her house I went to feed the animals but something was keeping the garage door (the literal door from the hall way into the garage) from opening. I could pry the door open just enough to see that a strap was keeping the door from opening. I immediately called Brittany and asked what in the world was going on. Apparently the cats have figured out to work together and open the door and then gorge themselves so the door was rigged to prevent any future issues. Well the problem was that I couldn't get to the animal's food as well. Brittany suggested that I go outside and using my bare hands open the main garage door. Well, that didn't work so the animals were going to have to wait for their Mom which defeated the purpose of me going over in the first place. I kept asking Brittany if she was trying to prank me. She assured me she wasn't.... I'm still not sure! JK!
In preparation for the weekend festivities (MY BIRTHDAY!!!) I made cookie dough, recipe coming soon! Try not to drool! Later guys!
