Counting Stars

Monday-Work was yet another good day. I know there will be bad and good days but right I’m totally smitten with the good days. In the beginning I resisted the change that I brought upon myself but now I know for sure it was the best move I could have made.

After work I still wanted to complete my Christmas shopping and since it was cyber Monday I was able to almost get everything online for super cheap with free shipping.

I called my sister and we ended up meeting for dinner, which was nice. I introduced her to Panera…. It’s a dangerously delicious place! We were able to discuss some topics that only sisters can. One of the things that bonds Heather and I so closely is that we have the same set of biological parents (even though we don’t look alike).

While shopping with my sister we went down an aisle at Target and found a very well loved/used Winnie the Pooh Bear stuffed animal on the ground. I remembered hearing about this article and decided to make it MY personal mission to reunite Pooh Bear with child! My sister thought I was nuts-per usual! So, with Pooh Bear in the cart I headed to the lost and found at the front of the store. Along my way I asked parents with little ones if they had lost it. I was somewhat surprised that everyone was snotty or gave me the ‘why are talking to me’ look. Despite this I trudged on towards the front of the store while my sister kept shopping. Right as I was about to give Pooh Bear to the customer service department a frantic woman said, “Oh my gosh you found him!” Her little girl appeared to be 18 months old with a tear stained face and a pair of puffy red eyes. As soon as Pooh Bear was in her cart he little girl snatched him up and squeezed him tight. The little girl then gave me the stink-almost to say, “why did you take him from me?” The mom went on to thank me and said that I made her day. I’m a sucker for a happy ending!

Music Monday- I’m choosing this song because I can’t stop thinking about a certain guy. Now, STOP! Don’t get yourself into a tizzy over the previous comment! This certain guy was a potential guy from earlier this year that didn’t work out. I know the reasons why it didn’t work out are valid but for some stupid reason I can’t stop thinking about the could have been. I hate that my mind keeps thinking of him. All right brain of mine: ENOUGH!

Happy Monday everyone! Did you get any good deals from cyber Monday?
